Late (rough demo) Kori Eryn original composition

I don't often share what inspired a song because I'd much rather have it able to be interpreted by the listener in whichever way suits them, but in this case I make an exception. If you've been reading my blog, then you already know that I've been reading "In Praise of Slowness" by Carl Honore. Pick up a copy from the library and read it through. Hopefully it'll inspire you in some way as it has me. I highly recommend it :)

This video is a little different - not the usual live performance. I was trying to record a new song as a video for you and the audio got messed up. My vocal mic had been dropped and, wrongly assuming it was broken, I tried to record the video with a different mic - bad idea. The audio was terrible beyond terrible. So I took clips of the video (the beginning and the end clips) and also clips of misc. moments this spring including my house, my son, a beach sunset, and some collaborative moments with my friend henry (see our other youtube - username derixhd1). I tried to be artistic while trying to salvage a video....you be the judge... I'll try to have another up soon because I have so many new songs for you!!!! and I'm excited to share as well as super excited that my vocal mic is in perfect shape :)

hey! i LOVE the song. when you record in the future, try to get mor Low Frequencies on the guitar. try moving the mic more towards the sound hole or even the bridge.
