How do I get this feature for Hotmail?

set hotmail to forward to yer gmail account set yer gmail account to receive messages from hotmail. make your to from settings hotmail and you wont have to change anything\. It works great I did it a few weeks ago, goodbye hotmail. I still use it as my email address though

I read on-line that IMAP is free for gmail but costs for others.

I havent even found who alse has it.
