C'mon, people, this is depressingly bad. Artificially inseminated canned laughter and overacting can't fix bad writing. I still remember watching the show when it first aired, stunned at how bad it was. It reminded me then, and now, of the sitcom Woody Allen's friend is working on in "Annie Hall." It only lasted six episodes because it was painful for most of us to watch.

It was an act. Bronson doesn't talk like Balki in real life.

I wish I could see a more "normal" scene from this show. Like what the show intended to be. This seems like a scene that they just used to introduce the series.

If this has Courtney Cox in it, makes you wonder who would have played in her place on Friends if this had actually been a hit and lasted more than just a few episodes.

I remember seeing this show and thought it was VERY funny! Just wish it could have done better. I guess people wanted Balki instead, typical public reaction. Typecast bs. I really liked this show!

Its was acting. You never watched the talk shows he was on during the time he was playing Balki? or the pepsi commercial in the 90's? I was 7 when Perfect Strangers came out and I must admit, it was wierd to me too, to hear him talk for the first time with out it. I love this guy
