Frenier part 1 PARANORMAL SOCIETY OF PONCHATOULA

Frenier Louiaiana. The nearby Manchac Swamp, mith says, hides a mass grave: the residents of Frenier, which disappeared in the hurricane of 1915..People say it was caused by a voodoo curse. A woman named Julia Brown used to rock on her front porch and sing a song that went, 'When I die I'm gonna take the whole town with me.' Well, on the day of her funeral, as they lowered her casket into the ground, the wind whipped up and the entire town of Frenier was swallowed."

..The story is that in 1915, one Julia Brown was being buried when huge hurricane swept through and virtually destroyed the entire town of Frenier - the hurricane end up being the final resting place for all 50 attendees of the funeral of Julie Brown. Still today, the depths of the swamp hold the mass graves of the hurricanes victims of that fateful day. The victims of that disaster are said to, "Still haunt the Manchac Swamp"...
