On 19 February 2010 Samsung opened its first (temporary) 3D Brand Store, in the P.C. Hooftstraat in Amsterdam. The latest 3D devices were on show, such as 3D-tv's and 3D Blu-ray players, next to the latest digital cameras, notebooks and mobile phones. One of the eye catchers was the then recently launched Eric Kuster Limited Edition LED-tv, designed by famous designer Eric Kuster. Other eye catchers were several Quince powered holographic displays, including a life size holographic projection of a person that was visible from the street after closing time. The lay out and design of the store was designed by Quince. The official opening was handled by Quince Events.
