he was writing song and selling cd (back then cassett tape) by hundreds of thousand when we were all attending elementary school. I watched 2001 vedio of his performance and it brings tears to my eye.

Before he did any variety shows, he was a respected singer/song writer...

I don't think he sings as good as 10 years ago. I was a big fan of his in the mid 90s.

@22starfan so true, i just saw happy together and a bunch of singers were praising him. i was pleasantly surprised to hear that he wrote sung shikyung's on the road. stories of him selling his music is super funny and how easy going he is about rejection makes me like him even more.

예능에 많이 나와서 그렇지 가수는 가수인가 봐요ㅠ 예전 가수분들은 진짜 가창력이 있으신데 요즘 아이돌분들은 노래 잘하는 분도 물론 있지만, 예전 가수분들만큼 따라가지는 못하는것 같아요ㅠ^ㅠ 피아노 연주해주신 유희열분도 되게 잘치세요ㅠㅠㅠ
