How to Change the Loading Screens of your Apps on your iPod Touch and iPhone

Hey guys.

Today's video will show you how to change the loading screen (the screen that appears before the application opens up) of Native, Cydia, and App Store applications.

All you will need from Cydia is Winterboard.

Written Guide
1) Make sure you have Winterboard installed.
2) Go to the site above and click on a Category, then click on a picture. Right-click on it and save it as:
Default.png
3) SSH into your device

4) If you want to change the loading screen of an App Store app, follow these steps:
- Navigate to /var/mobile/Applications/"random letters and numbers"/Example.app/
- Rename the Default.png in there to Default1.png to make a backup.
- Copy in that picture that we saved into Example.app
5) If you want to change the loading screen of a Cydia or Native app, follow these steps: - Navigate to /var/stash/Applications.xxxxxx/Example.app/ - Rename the Default.png in there to Default1.png to make a backup. - Copy in that picture that we saved into Example.app
6) Click on the application you changed on your iPod Touch/iPhone and VOILA!

yes, they just have slightly different names: MobileMail.app, MobileMusicPlayer.app, just look through for common names

@ipodtouch4life165 Theres an easier way to find the app your looking for other then double clicking. What you gotta do is go to iFile on your iPhone or iPod Touch and go to the same place and it will come up in names and look at the bottom of the file (before you open it) and remember a few numbers and look for those numbers. Trust me it's alot faster. :)

select the photo, hit command, I, then in the name and extension, change what ever the format is into .png
