Indonesia: Padang Bai, Bali Gateway to Lombok

Padang Bai, Bali was the last stop for us. The remaining group was going on to Lombok by ferry tomorrow for one more week of volcano climbing and beaching.

Whenever you hear the words..."Bali"...or ..."Asia"..., don't jump to the conclusion that rooms/food is expensive. It's still so very easy to travel on a shoestring. Dinners for two, $10 U.S., hotel rooms with swimming pools, $30 U.S., and these are NICE hotels and meals. If your thinking is $10 U.S. a day, it can still be done. Go for it!
