Bless her. How is she doing now, one year on? Interesting that you say she has stringhalt. We have just picked up a colt who appeared to have stringhalt in both backs. It turnes out as he had NEVER been out of a box before he didn´t know how to walk (coupled with a wound to his back!!!) and his extensor muscles were short and tied. He has been with us 2 weeks and he is improving daily.
