Smith & Wesson Discontinued Warning Personal Details To Be Released BOYCOTT BENCHMADE

This is a warning to all knife dealers who sell Smith & Wesson, and Schrade Automatic Knives. Benchmade is claiming that they invented the push button automatic switchblade that has a locking device on the knife. This claim is outright nonsense and the patent is narrow in its scope and needs to be revoked. If anyone has the patent CRKT does because they filed a locking device prior to Benchmade on their folding knives and a switchblade is simply a derivative. The problem is huge, Benchmade due file a lawsuit against Smith & Wesson. The Extreme OPS line is discontinued.

So I urge people that understand the issue to stop Benchmade and fight back.

Depends on the item. There is a HUGE difference between Taiwan and China in terms of quality so don't associate the two. Yes, by UN decision they are the same country but Taiwan views itself as independent.

And true the old Smith & Wesson and Schrade company when they were made in the US were a much better company. But now every old US company that has gone bankrupt has had their names bought and then items made elsewhere.

Still... S&W isn't what I call a good knife brand and I try and avoid them .

Depends not a valid statement, the USA made automatics from the 80's are awesome and the 1500 model that is out now which is made here is a good knife. There are many brands that make overseas, so it is not the BRAND that makes the quality it is POINT OF ORIGIN that matters and where it was made that you should pay attention to and that goes with any company.

Taiwan, just like Boker, just like CRKT, and ofcourse Scharade. Taiwan is much better made than China by leaps and bounds.

Bitchmade makes shit in main land China so they are just as guilty with making garbage.

Same goes for Gerber, Kershaw, and just about any major knife company in the US

While on vacation I bought an extreme ops auto for 15 bucks. After carrying it for 2 months I have realized it is a really well made knife. Zero Play, no crappy liner lock, just great for the money. Wish I bought 2 or 3 now that I see they will be discontinued.

I'm sorry but most (if not all) S&W knives are made in china. I have their urban camo karambit in my hand just there : "china" is stamped on the blade.

Also, you can find a lot of noname made in china knives that have the exact same shape (only paint on it hanges) ... I even doubt S&W are really designing everyone of their knives rather they pick models on chinese manufacturers' catalogs with premade knives in them ....

That's nothing see the movie on HULU "Future of Food". Bio engineering grain to be Roundup ready seeds ( which make the plant immune to Roundup). With the hybrid plants in the ecosystem they are free to pollinate natural crops. The company holds patent rights to the modified grain. Farms have been sued for everything, their crops innocently and unknowing to the farmers of the pollination.

Which means if bio engineering to humans happens the cooperation could own your children or sue you.

From the first time the patent is filed you have 20 years on a functionality patent, which Bitchmade purchased.  The alleged violation happened and the patent holder must file a complaint within five years of the so called violation, which the morons at Bitchmade did not do. Once 5 years is past then it voids things. This is all does not matter because of Patent Misuse, they violated Spyderco's Patent and paid them royalties in a private negotiation and I know this from a credible source.
