Is it a bad thing if u keep the eggs with the mother if they are located right above the heat tape? Should the eggs be on the cooler side of the enclosure? I have a rack with 4-41 quart tubs from boaphile.com. I have 2 strips of heat tape on one side. Each strip has it's own separate plug, so I can have only one running if I want to.

@oooMARTYNooo The mother is definitely capable of incubating her own eggs.. I personally do not use this method, nor recommend it, as i prefer a 100% hatch rate..

Would I need to separate my snakes after ovulation because I have 1 male living with 2 females in a 60g enclosure

@pimpmix1 You should not be housing snakes together!! I highly recommend housing each adult ball python in their own 41 qt sterilite bin.
