  • Why you should never leave two Tesla coils and a beer in a dark closet...

  • @Coasterintheyard is it something about corona?

  • cool but maybe save up for a new camere no offence

  • @toxicproductions100 haha none taken. this was filmed with the shitty vga quality on one of my old phones lol

  • Could this kill you if you touched it?

  • @Ideaz4U2 not a chance. but still, dont touch something that looks dangerous

  • how you madethis small tesla coil how to do it send to my email: felipe.giovanetti@ yahoo.com.br

  • it looks like parts from an electrosphere....

  • @TCDIL95 no, i was just making a stupid joke. how long are the discharge sparks? looks fun to play with.

  • @Ideaz4U2 it cant kill u because their is not enough amps but the more voltage the more it hurts

  • Voltage from battery is DC, a assume the 555 circut runs a transistor & pulses the DC signal so the primary doesnt saturate allowing a transformer to operate. So its a square wave. Ignition coils i presume have the primary wound tight to the seconday as they change freqency as the cars revs increase so are not operating at a resonant frequency like a proper tesla coil

  • To sum up an answer for some of the questions. A transformers steps up or down the voltage as the ratio of turns on the primary compared to secondary & the primary is close as possible to the secondary for magnetic coupling. Tesla made his coils by tuning the primary freqency to the seconary to allow resonance, this allow the primary to be loose from the secondary & if tuned correctly a high voltage output that not related to the ratio of turns. Read other acticles for info on tuning. Voltage

  • based fed SGTC <-- never saw bevore

  • Could you possibly send me the schematics? I'd like to build one too :D
