This is Mission 006. There is no official name for this mission; it's simply called "Stage 6" in the Training mode in the "etc." menu. To play this level and the next, you must have averaged an A or an S rank on the preceding levels. This is an overall tough level comprised of all boss battles. The hardest fight (and I think anyone will agree with this statement, because of how unpredictable and varied the fight is) is with the boss form that plops down mushrooms on you. While difficult, I learned the principle behind this fight: don't focus on killing the boss: focus on popping the mushrooms. You need to always have a path cleared so you don't get hit by them and so that you can jump over the boss when he descends and moves horizontally across the bottom of the screen. Of course, popping the mushrooms isn't going to kill the boss, but the more of them you have out of your way, the more you can attack him without worrying about your footing, which has to be perfect. If you focus on the mushrooms first and the boss second, you will have greater success.
@patrickriley360 Yup. When I finally got to this stage I'm like, "hey, there's that fucker who got interrupted during the turtle fight on stage one." such an easy boss it turned out

Some of the parts with the jellyfish were tense! Also, I learned something from watching you - with the first form, when it flies to the upper corners and throws those energy balls - I could never consistently dodge that attack, but watching you play taught me something new. Thank you.

RE: that attack: he does 2 moves where he throws the energy balls, one when he is in either lower corner, and one when he is in either upper corner (as you mentioned). I'm sure you know this, but you have to wait to jump. The temptation is to jump right away, but the longer you wait, the lower down the energy balls will travel and allow you clear them. Although it might look different, dodging the energy balls when he is either lower corner is the same as dodging them when...

...when he is in either upper corner. You simply have to wait until the last second to jump. If you learn that principle and jump with the same mentality that the jump is the same even though he is positioned in a different spot, you should not get hit (at least, not that much). It's all psychological.
