October 5, 2010 one day after Verizon admitted over billing 15 million customers and publicly stating they would give refunds. I attempted to question a Manager regarding $615 in data, late fees, mystery fees, reconnect fees, equipment charges on my account after earlier that afternoon he told me on the phone that it is company policy not to issue credits for over billing. After 2 minutes speaking with him he called the police. We need to stand up and stop allowing companies to overcharge us...even $1.99. According to news reports, Verizon had $60 billion in revenue in 2009...how much of that was from erroneous charges to our accounts?
pay attention to your bill so you dont have to go through this again // make the time to view you bill // its your bill
