Sad that most do not understand the importance of the Newman Motor. I have since redesigned the motor in a rectangular shape which allows for a 303.333% improvement in performance. I am new to this, I see that the magnets are slightly offset, why? also, I do not understand what the screws around the magnets are for. in short, I cant find any information on building the magnet core, or any confirmation it is as simple as it appears, 2 magnets facing north out glued to a shaft. please clarify.
