Exchanging Places

The Metropolitan Police is working with Transport for London, the London Cycling Campaign and the City of London Police to raise awareness amongst lorry drivers and cyclists of the difficulties faced by both groups when using the Capital's roads. This video shows the limited vision that a driver will have of a cyclist even with the latest mirrors fitted to the lorry. Watch it to discover where you should avoid putting yourself when cycling near lorries in order to minimise your chance of being involved in a collision.
