As time passes from year-to-year, decades build and mature into their fullness. The process is cyclical, beginning, ripe with new possibilities, accumulating a body of experience, building to climax then dissipating only to begin again. This middle-eastern veil dance is a visual metaphor of this process.

This project was commissioned by Cinevic, Society of Independent Filmmakers in honour of the 10th Anniversary of the Victoria Independent Film and Video Festival.

Beautifully filmed ... but more film than dance. It's difficult to tell much about the dance, itself, because of the special effects and editing and close-up camera shots.
