What to do with 2 old horizontal deflection tubes ? Build a free running push-pull oszillator !
Coil has 3 Windings and about 0.5µH. Cap is 100p. So we have about 22Mhz.
A 60W - 230V (european) Lightbulb with three air-windings of simple wire will light bright wenn put near the coil.
The noise you hear is interference from the cam because of the extrem high electrostatic field.
Be advised that you can easily kill your entertainment electronics :-D

  • hey tahts awesome. it seems ur demonstrating a form of teslas work. the light bulb glows really nicely and doesnt flicker thats nice
