Just a little taste of the Kentucky Marijuana March. We had a small attendence of about 150 throughout the day. Hightimes did'nt advertise that year like they did the year before. In 2003 we had over 500 people. Through the years we have brought the best speakers & actvists the nation has ever produced. We had George McMahon who is a Presidental Decorated Hero by Nancy Regan for his efforts to educate the public on the drug war. He is one of the legal marijuana patients that recieves 300 joints a month from the Federal Government. He came & smoked a legal joint in front of God & everyone, without fear of arrest. He and his buddy Chris Largen co-wrote the best seller,"Prescription Pot" came & autographed copies for our people. We have had Kay Lee, the founder of , "The Journey For Justice", & winner of the ,"Critical Resistance Award". Kay is a prisoner advocate. We have had people from Rainbow Farm Campground , we've done live radio shows during the march & have had HIGHTIMES Freedom Fighters at every event. The Real Fat Freddy / Roland A. Duby / Jean Marlowe of Western North Carolina ASA , Bands like The Sixth Floor / Flawed Like You / Southbound Band / Syndicate 4 Band / Teddy Woodward & The Hemptations & Hightimes Freedom Fighter award winning journalist Mingo. We are a small group of people who get the job done. We've had Gatewood Galbraith The Last Free Man In America The true father of the modernday hemp movement. Craig Lee of Madison Flax & Seed company & curator of the Kentucky Hemp Musem. The real stars are the public who are brave enough to stand up in the face of this dictoral form of govenment & stand up for their (and your) rights. You are the ture patriots. As Gatewood says,"The Constituion is just a piece of paper, it has no voice, it is not alive. It is only us who can give the constituion life & that's what we are doing when we stand together like this".Come on down & join our voice in a chours of, "NO POT, NO PEACE! ", & give the Constituion a voice by coming to Dolly McNutt plaza on May the 9th, 2009.
