Hang on - you had a european version of Brawl! The disc you were holding had a PEGI age rating printed on it. How did you get the PAL version so early?

No the freeloader doesn't but if you had read the description, you'd have seen that he has a wiikey..

turns out we can run it in 480p without messing round with the freeloader, heres how-
Open the iso in Trucha Signer, extract the main.dol from the second partition, drag it over the wii video mode changer exe, select mode 3, replace the patched main.dol with the original one in Trucha, resign both partitions, burn the iso, set your wii @ 60Hz, run Smash Bros and it will switch to 480p

yes yes yes we all know that, the point was to test SSBB on a clean backup image without anything added or removed.

Hmm, i wondered why it was running in 480i on mine.. i didnt patch the iso i just have my Wiikey set to load any region discs, glad my TV has a really good deinterlacer cause i sure as hell couldnt be arsed swapping discs every time.
didnt even realise till i saw the TV say 480i when changing channels

tried to patch SSBB afew times with trucha for 480P but no luck looks like all PAL users can only get 480i unless they run FREELOADER :o)
