Adverts back in the day were great. I still watch some kids channels and every commercial break has to have stupid insurance ads in them. Adverts just aren't good anymore. They stopped many ads because they said it gives a rise in obesity but they don't mention that if that stupid GO COMPARE or Sheela's wheels people sing another song I'm gonna shoot myself from all the stress.

@Dedamn666 I agree. If you watch commercials on YouTube from, say, 1980, then 85, 90, and 95, each period is hugely different to the last. We've progressed greatly in terms of technology but other than that, the pace of change seems to have slowed. I sometimes joke that the only way you can tell if a TV show is from 2000 or today is whether it's in widescreen or not.
