Strange Attractor and Disinformation perform "Circuit Blasting", live at the Unitarian Chapel, Cambridge, UK, 16 October 2006. Special thanks to Jo at Bad Timing. The "Circuit Blasting" method is an affectionate parody of the Circuit Bending and Generative Composition music genres, which involves giving approx 20,000 Volt electric shocks to electronic keyboards, and seeing what happens next... "Circuit Blasting" is therefore "a bit like Circuit Bending, but alot less subtle". The "Circuit Blasting" CD is out now on Adaadat Records.

"Circuit Blasting" performances have taken place at Dorkbot 34 ("people doing strange things with electricity"), Camden Arts Centre, Adaadat's "Whole Lotta Sass" night (with Gay Against You, Cutting Pink with Knives, DJ Scotch Egg etc) at The Ditch, The Flea Pit, The Glue Rooms, The Foundry and Fovea Gallery (all London), in the "Enter - Unknown Territories" festival at The Junction (Cambridge), Wrexham Arts Centre, Subterfuge (Islington Mill, Salford), Study Gallery (Poole), at The Centre for Life (Newcastle) as part of the AV Festival, and at Shunt Vaults (London). A "Circuit Blasting" sound installation was also exhibited in The Foundry sub-basement in May 2006. The Bad Timing show also featured Mego recording artist Peter Rehberg (Pita) and Saul Zev. Headphones recommended.
