A version, featuring remastered audio, of "kassandra," the first of the "fleetinghosts" series by Louisiana intermedia artist Amy Woodruff. A video short / performance composition / narrative experiment about nightmares and the measures we take to escape from them. Original poetry, combined with Kassandra's monologue from Euripides' tragedy "Hekabe."
I want to explore this piece as a performance installation of some type since it was such a hassle to build the ridiculous contraption from which the "fabric forest" is suspended. Filmed with a Canon A570is camera, and edited in Windows Movie Maker. Created and edited in New Orleans, Louisiana 04-12-09.
