it was his back that erat hurt. He missed 30 games with back spasms. when he got hit it just twisted him weird and his back flared up again. Dont talk until you know what your talking about youtube

I like Erat, but this hit could go either way. Yeah, it was alittle late but not much. The last angle looked like there could have been contact shoulder to face (NHL would consider that shoulder to head). And from what I heard Erat did suffer a mild concussion. But i still can understand where people think the refs and league overreacted. The hit was late but barely. Erat had put himself in a defenseless position.
