Ranjit Mathoda is the founder of Mathoda Capital LLC, where he manages capital by looking for inexpensive stocks and favorable situations, and is a co-founder of the Ocyle Group LLC, an investment company focused on acquiring interests in prominent private companies. he previously was a corporate and commercial real estate lawyer at McGuireWoods LLP.

Mr. Mathoda also has a law degree from Boston College Law School, bachelors of science summa cum laude in Finance and Operations Research from Babson College, completed three years of study at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Computer Science and Economics, and is a member of the California State Bar. Mr. Mathoda has been quoted by the New York Times for his analysis of Barack Obamas use of the Internet and startup techniques in his presidential campaign and for observations regarding the source of Googles market power.
