  • 150000 miles for a 91' ?

    That's pretty good.

  • @tkotomy Just sold it last week for $900 with 195k miles :)

  • Is it the exact same for the rear suspension?

  • @mrvpg It is about the same setup.

  • Can I just replace the one thats broke so I dont have to cut the other one off? Just replace it later if it breaks too?

  • @tonij1960 Yes, it is possible to only replace one and replace the other when it fails. Wouldn't hurt your car any :)

Seriously! If you are watching this, please do not be like this guy. Do yourself a favor and get a jack stand and properly secure the car. YOU CAN GET SERIOUSLY HURT OR FATALLY WOUND YOURSELF!!! Geez!

  • I love seeing fresh new parts on an old car

  • You guys did a great job on the video. Very clear and informative, even used old man lingo "this rubber thing, weird side down." Well done!

  • Nice torque wrench...oh wait you didn't have one

  • @vegabaja yea i was scared that it wasnt on jack stands. especially seeing that my car has that same cheap jack that was supporting his car. my car broke the factory jack :(

thank god i was only changing a tire.

  • Nice video, most people don't show all of the step to putting it on. Going to do mine first thing in the morning!

  • Respond to this video...This car is one of the best riding cars Buick ever made but you got to watch for rust everywhere -- mine had it on the frame rails -- brake lines rusted to shit & things like crankshaft sensors were crap all the time. Finally scrapped it at 175,000 miles when it just would not start & the dealer spent 3 days with idiot mechanics who couldn't figure it out .

too bad they stopped making good cars a long time ago .

  • @vegabaja You bet dude -- scissor jack is gods answer to overpopulation.

I seen these things twist & fold like pretzels .Use axle stands & floor jack to lift the car .

My floor jack is 35 years old & only filled the oil once .cost a whole $35 way back when .Best money I ever spent together with a cheap electric impact gun ..

Always watch your ass when working on heavy machinery .it sucks getting hurt on top of being too poor to take it to a pro shop .

  • Thanks man!

  • @vegabaja dont mean to sound so clueless, but i didnt know you could use one jack stand if your working on one side. thought you had to use two regardless. can you just use a floor jack alone for one side?

  • Yer got yerself a oil preblem

  • Thanks for the info. I'm doing the same thing to my 2000 park ave. tomorrow.
