Interesting. I preferred the second mic, the first one was too muddy and some dynamics of Dave's playing seemed to be lost. I'm listening on my laptop so the issue may be the mickey mouse speakers vs the mic ...
The wired vs wireless were different but I wouldn't care to hazard a guess as to which was which.

don't know anything about those mics but i think the first is cable and the second is wireless...

1st Mic is SM57 and 2nd Mic is the EV. 1st is wireless and 2nd is cable. I prefer EV with cable.

I think the 1st mic had more low end to it, but the 2nd mic had more clarity, smoother highs, and somewhat clearer. As far as recording goes the 2nd mic I think hands down would be better, for life it'd be more preference but I'd still use the 2nd mic. I think the 2nd example was wireless as well as there was a bit less high end.

the 1st mic had more 'body' to it....
as for wireless- harder to tell.... but i thought the 2nd take had a little less high end, therefore id say it was the wireless one.

I think the first take on the mics sounds the best. i like the warmth of it.
the sec. take on the cable vs. wireless sounds best . to me that is but i guess it all depends on what you are playing

1st Mic, definitely. Now, with wireless vs. cable, I thought both sounded nice, which is a VERY good sign for EV Wireless!
(but that's just me)

1 is 57 , 2nd mic is the EV .......1rst is wireless .. .2nd version is cabled. Only because subconsciously you wanted to show me, so you kicked the chord, and looked to the right. hehe. great video idea DM.
