This is another accuracy test of ProSonic. I recorded a demo from Gens KMod. This video shows my ProSonic engine and the Sega Genesis emulator playing the demo back. As you can see, my engine stays with it for a long while, that is until Sonic shoots off the ramp at the end of the video.

  • Truly amazing! I guess you (or the actual programmer) spent a lot of time looking at the disassemblies to make it THAT accurate, eh?

  • Oh definitely. The code for Sonic's physics and all are actually coded exactly as they are in the disassemblies, and anyone analyzing my code who's familliar with the disassembly would immediately recognize it. There's only a few minor bugs that prevent it from being perfect as shown to be the case in this video.

  • Do you even play Sonic games at all?

  • Heh. Thanks for replying, you made me look for updates on this, and well there are updates.

  • To SonikkuHedgehog: It happens to me too. It's the speed that you're going and how you hit the ramp (like if you spin or run.)

  • To UncleKennybobs: Come on, we all have an opinion on games! And by the way, no need to be shocked.

  • a sonic game engine.

  • What is pro sonic my friends?

  • That's accurate enough for me.

  • Because the layout blocks are different.
