um what "fact" are you talking about? please cite your sources because im pretty sure they are wrong.. you obviously dont take into account that Greenland, for example, is all standing ice on top of land, and when it melts it dose raise sea levels according to James Hanson top climatologist at NASA Godard space institute. oh n if you don't think the temp is raising and Greenland wont melt look up the Wilkins Anarctic ice shelf fail..

The real problem is not global warming.The real problem is population. Just everybody wait.. in twenty years or so the population of the world will demand more than the earth can supply.....and the population increases unchecked! Global warming is real....thats a fact... life will adapt..thats also a fact (banks may not,ah well) it is only a problem to us because there are so many of us and it will efect our cosy existance...COSY FOR NOW!!!

The island i was born also in similar situation and good to see maldives try to save their islands which the inhabitted for 2000 years. Again theses poor people are not responsible tor seal level rise but those who produce co2 which largely from fossil fuel we extract from below the ground since industrialisation and the removal of timber from the places like amazone.
