@marellison Sherrie Austin was my roommate back in Nashville...I brought her to Rod Stewart management and they flew to Nashville which planted the seed of her Arista Record deal. She was a star a hit singer a major label behind her - all the stars were aligned to make her a star so I'm also confused as heck why there wasn't much more major success.....Timing - But she will always be one of the brightest stars that shined on my reality - It was an honor to be her friend

@marellison ... I guess Sherrie is caught between two worlds. She was lucky & smart enough to escape Australia in the late 1990's. Only talentless slutty trash are promoted here. But I guess not being blonde would be a great disadvantage for her in America as it appears that female country singers from America are so stereotyped now that any form of individuallity is a definite setback, as even the already successful female singers have taken to blonding their hair !

Music and lyrics are excellent, Sherrié has a wonderful and expressive voice, the song is sung in a perfect manner, Sherrié's stage performances are excellent. What is strange: Nobody seems to know her. I never heard any of her songs on the radio, I never see her on TV, and bought the album because a band mate gave me an "insider tip". There is something wrong in music and show business.
