This is an original song that I wrote about a year ago. I thought I would share it with youtube viewers. I hope you like it. I am playing the keyboard with it. That is why I had to keep looking down. I was changing chords. All the songs I write are written about God or to him. He is my life and my inspiration. If you receive any blessing from this, then I praise God for it. All glory to him forever!

I wrote this at a particularly low time in my life. We all have difficulties but I know that as Corrie Ten Boom stated, "There is no pit so deep that He (the Lord) is not deeper still." He is with us through everything we face and I am so thankful for that.
I love you Jesus.

These are the words to the song:

The One I Adore

(Verse)
At this moment I am free
Chains have fallen off of me
And all because of life I found in you.

I was dark but you are light
I was wrong but you are right
And now you've opened up my eyes to see the truth.

(Chorus)
You are the King
You are my everything
You are the Lord
You are the one I adore

You are the mighty one
You are Father, Spirit, Son
You are the Lord
You are the one I adore

(Verse)
I am humbled to recall
That you gave up your life for all
And now I pledge my faith, my love, my life to you

Now I stand and take my place
To walk the walk, to run the race
Til face to face I sing this song of praise to you

(Bridge)
You are the Great I Am
You are the living Lamb
You are alive forevermore!
(Repeat)
You are the one I adore
You are the one I adore © 2009

  • I was wondering if i could have your premission to sing this song as a special at my church? I can feel the anoiting of the Lord as you are singing it.

  • @girlsmightycute You certainly may sing this if you would like. I would be honored. May God bless you!

  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY

  • @BIGMUDDYDOG Thank you so much! It was a great day. : )

  • A coloratura soprano is a type of operatic soprano who specializes in music that is distinguished by agile runs and leaps. The term coloratura refers to the elaborate ornamentation of a melody, which is a typical component of the music written for this voice. Within the coloratura category, there are roles written specifically for lighter voices known as lyric coloraturas and others for larger voices known as dramatic coloraturas. Some roles may be sung by either voice.

  • @churchintheair I have never heard of the term coloratura. That is very interesting. Are you a musician, singer, or just a music lover? Thank you for your comment.

    Many blessings

  • Sorry to see the circus parade of dysfunctionality has found it's way down Halogirl's street.

    Great performance!

I'm referring of course to the song, not the circus clown.

    :-)
