Limited Liability Companys (LLC) have different tax options. If you're a single member then you be taxed as a Sole Propiertorhip and you will pay self employment tax as same as a independent contractors if you made a S-Election then you get tax as a corporation. Multi-members are taxed as Partnership.

  • If a single member LLC elects to be taxed as a corporation, you don't need too consider yourself as an employee. As long as you pay your income tax and self-employment tax your fine, IRS won't wine about it.

  • Thank you, this has helped a lot!
