  • Holy tacos! I didnt know streeters made that much comp. or HP. So do I have to bring you my engine to be machined or do you already have some lying around to build off? And what cylinder heads do you recommend? I always hear the best flowing heads that are allowed for this class are 993's. Which brings up--to use the ones off the crate motors or originals from the 70s. From what ive seen the older heads have just a little bit bigger runner. And I thought this class ran on pumpgas...?

  • @CrikeyMang

We have all the engine parts to build a complete engine, or you can bring us a core engine to build off of. 993 487 and 487x are the best heads to use. The street stock class can run high octane gas.

  • @cncmotorsports How much is a stage 2 engine cost? And is it turnkey ready? I do have a engine to build off and 993 heads + 055 Intake so Im assuming a tad less..? You wouldnt happen to know anything about 33417369 casting cylinder heads would ya..they look very similar in design to 993s but they came off a crate motor. Ive read theyre very similar to 882s but they dont specify flow or runner size for these particular heads..any experience with em? Anybody locally run your streeter motors?

  • @CrikeyMang

We are repricing all our Wissota engines right now. Give Chris a call 800-341-1528 he takes care of all the circle track engines and will be more than happy to give you any pricing and details on any of the builds with options. Chris can also give you a list of a few locals that run our engines.

Heads, 993, 487, and 487X are the heads we use, the 33417369 not familiar with it, I'm sure it's just a newer casting.

  • Are you saying you're getting 35-40 more HP with thinner rings?

  • Holy cow. If I had an extra $7500 I know what I'd spend it on.
