CBG #2. Defintely a superior job to #1, but #3 will be even better. Got the ol' $2 radio shack piezo in there. Sounds good...very responsive but got some wolftones goin on. neck is oak. body is a macanudo cigars mahogany(I think) box. Nut and bridge are threaded bolts. Tailpiece ferrules are T-nuts from the hardware store. I made the neck to accomodate 4 strings...then realized I only had room on the headstock for 3 tuners...then ran out of time as this is a wedding present for a friend.

Next CGB will have a truss rod and a thinner neck.

  • Pretty sweet man...

  • how CAN I get one?

  • Nice build! - CC

  • not bad, what do you tune the strings to?

  • Did you use a preamp for amplification? What about reports I hear about piezos producing lots of feedback? Is the installation and wiring complex?

  • Very nice. I like that sound.

  • cool.. i love guitars even more than i love cigars... you put the better things in life together...
