Hi Friends!
Another video from my trip to China~
This time, we were able to see these actors prepare for the show, doing their hair and makeup. As you can see, us observers were not restricted any way--we could have gotten right in their face (but I didn't :D)
Because of sweat from the lights on stage, these actors aren't using your every day cosmetics to prepare for the show. They are using painting materials so sweat won't ruin the makeup.
These actors all have small roles. :) The actors who get the big bucks are on the second floor.
The girl I am focusing on in this video is 16 years old--their youngest member. She had just graduated from a performing arts school. Her role is that of a warrior, so her makeup is done to make her look fierce.
Apologies because I was trying to conserve power on my camera--I didn't get the rest of the hair prep, but the rest is pretty easy to figure out if you find a picture of what it's supposed to look like in the end.
Enjoy!
@HighAsHelium Sure ¦D. I have no idea what they're called.

What is she attaching to her hair at 2:06? They look like metal plates. Is it insted of a wig? :)

@HighAsHelium It's really cool--I wish I could put up more of the other actors there but hers was the most complete video I had.
