Weekends are normally hard for me when it comes to adopting a healthier lifestyle. I am excited that I have conquered the 2nd weekend in a row!
On the weekends, I don't take the apple cider vinegar, because I don't want my body to become immune to it.
Today when I walked in the gym, my trainer's eyes got big and he said he could really see a change in my face and neck.
Today, I didn't drink my green smoothie before my workout and it made a BIG difference in my energy level. That little banana just wasn't enough for my hour of torture.
I made myself drink it later and that sustained me all day.
Yesterday I cooked some pickled beets that were in my co-op share. I normally boil them for 30 minutes, but I only boiled for 15 minutes this time. They were a little crunchy, yet still good. Althoug the beets were cooked, for 3 cups of pickled beets, the nutritional value was 150 cals with 34% carbs/6% protein/0 fat. I think I'm good!!!!!
We also had our 2nd challenge group meeting today. My client/friend Veronica attended with me and it was great! It's refreshing to hear experienced raw foodists opinions on what works, pitfalls to watch for, etc. Ultimately, most times it comes down to watching and listening to your own body.
As you can see my cals today were very low. I'm not worried about it because I feel great and I made myself eat the food that I did consume.
For the first time ever, my ratios were almost perfect!
Until later......
2cgod, that sounds good! I'm a newbie to all of this, so please, keep sending me ideas. Thanks.
