On the evening of April 27, 2006 Dr. Michalik took several images of fragment C of comet 73P/Schwassmann-Wachmann 3 at Winfree Observatory as the comet orbited past stars in the constellation Corona Borealis. Between 9:26 pm EST and 11:26 pm EST 25 sixty-second exposures were captured through a photometric R-filter. These images were assembled into a short movie showing two hours of the comet's orbital motion against the background stars.
