I just made these, they turned out great but they stuck to the paper :(. Brilliant recipe though!

@milred16 You could use fresh coconut, but I think they would not be as sweet. As for the eggs, you could probably use a meringue powder or some type of egg white substitute. In either case, you do have to get a "fluffy egg-white" consistency, since that is a big structure of this cookie. I haven't tried either of these methods my self, so unfortunately I can't advise you on the actual proportions or results. Best of luck! -Cindy

Hi If you are still avail to answer questions on this vid.....do these macaroons freeze ?

@mukwah1111 You can freeze these macaroons, but they should be wrapped individually in plastic wrap, then placed in a container or freezer bag before freezing. When you go to defrost them, keep the plastic on them, too. That way the moisture from the ice crystals will stay in the cookie and keep them moist. Hope this helps! - Cindy
