Calatrava and other contractors have filed liens on the property, the developer can't get a loan, and only 33% of the units were sold after a very aggressive 5-continent sales pitch. A dicey proposition even in the overheated housing market of two years ago, the timing for this can now be seen as absolutely disastrous, and I bet Kelleher rues the day he bought into this scheme.
