@kingcrimson234 Because some people are just heartless and only interested in the money. Whenever I've adopted puppies from a litter I've always chosen the "runt". Just because it's the smallest in the litter at the time doesn't mean to say it won't grow up to be a big strong healthy dog... which all the "runts" I've picked have turned out to be.

sorry to break it you but i dont think weims are the only ones that can do this.

Weimaraners are very smart. Mine is 3 years 8 months and knows sit, wait, drop, fetch, take to mom, take to dad, can discriminate ball, toy, bone, and bird from voice command, is directed using hand signals in the field, knows hold on and get in back or come up front for the car (lies down for hold on and spreads out his paws), can bow, speak (including when you tell him F-You or flip him off, those mean speak), and knows to retrieve his necklace on command (collar and leash). Crazy smart dogs

Same here....My weim grew up w/ me teaching him what various things are, always talking to him and the word "DANGEROUS" (t.g. he understands this word). The combo of knowing certain words with the ability of
connecting the dots causes me to wonder if I have created a monster. ;D. He's my best friend & sweetest boy.
wow, dude when they are 5 weeks they should still be with their mother til' atleast 8 weeks

@kingcrimson234 my weimaraner is the runt. She had a bad eye and was smaller than the rest of the litter, the breeder said she wouldn't have sold, but we bought her, trained and loved her. Now she has a happy life living out in the country galloping around with me in the snow then coming back in the house and cuddling up keeping warm. I love her so much!!!
