I watched all 4 episodes on Netflix and I have to say I agree with you about every thing you said. How ever there is one question i can't ever find the answer to, how similar was it to the game? No matter where I look I come out blank and it's not like I can go play and find out right? Well i guess if I spent a bunch of money on a Japanese version of the game and a Japanese console then got translations. Have you ever found out the answer?

What about anime that were adapted from visual novels, like Kanon, Clannad, Higurashi, ect. Some of them are fantastic animes, or do not consider visual novels as video games?
