"Gong fu cha" means the highest skill of drinking tea and has a lot to do with high culture and knowledge. This video raises an interesting question about the skill of drinking tea and things that concern our lives, without demaging the value of culture.

  • I've noticed that the tea tastes the best when I have someone to drink it with, usually my sister. We really discover more about the tea and the conversation makes it that much more enjoyable. I guess that proper attitude is important to gongfu cha. Just as Cloudwalker said.

  • This clip makes a great point about tea: That of all the elements that go into tea brewing, the human aspect is the most important. I have had wonderful experiences drinking ordinary teas with extraordinary people, and I've also drank a lot of costly teas that left me feeling underwhelmed. It all comes down to the person doing the brewing and what they are able to draw out of the leaves. Skill is important but proper attitude even more so in determining one's level of kung fu (in tea brewing).
