CLashman is the real name because the L in japan is pronounced to R in europe/USA (Dr Light/Right).... (sorry for my english, im french.). It's" RRrrrLLL " i dont know how say that XD

Play with the japan version of Rockman 2, you will see, it's Clashman and not Crashman ;)

@GroundmanEXE just wrong... the "real" name is クラシュマン which means crashman or "kurashuman"... just because the ppl in Japan kinda spell the letter R differently doesn't mean you HAVE to write L... in fact you mostly use the translated US version and there it is Crash Man... but also Dr. Light... and Luffy...

oh btw... Katakana (as クラシュマン) is used for foreign words... like crash... I don't know how Dr. Light is meant to be Light or Right... both words are possible
