The beginning of the protest events in Israel, leading up to the expected declaration of a Palestinian state, was marked in an impressive joint march of Jews and Palestinians in Jerusalem.
"Sheikh Jarrah Solidarity", which established itself in the past year with their struggle for the rights of the Palestinians in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah, organized the march, which included thousands of people from all over the country.
If until today peace organizations called for renewing negotiations with the Palestinians, this time the protestors were decisive -- enough negotiations!
