@frenchsalsa I believe that they were more concerned about costing. But emissions wouldn't have helped.

it has more bass cuz the damn camera is right next to the exhaust. i agree, are you sure thats an M3? it didnt really sound like it

@frenchsalsa hm, strange sound for an m3. us model maybe sounds different, but the eu m3 sound is badass xD

@PampersrockOr US M3 is pretty close to what a 332i would be. Very sad. It's only 240hp but has good torque. The U.S. emissions made it difficult for BMW to get their engine to work there. Similarly, the U.S. never got the S38B38 engine for the M5.

Like the title states, the exhaust was on a 97 E36 M3. I posted the video and sold the exhaust on ebay.
