Test video merge

This is an experiment with merging several videos into one, with a separate audio track. The videos were merged with Jahshaka. Jahshaka produced a file (conversion 1) containing the merged video and audio tracks of each video -- the file could not be opened with VirtualDub. Ffmpeg was then used to strip the audio (conversion 2). FFmpeg was then used again to add the separate audio track (conversion 3). After three conversions, the video has lost a bit of quality.

Any recommendations on simple and free/open source software to achieve this are welcome :) I'm new to FFMpeg and Jahshaka, so I'm sure I didn't use them to their full capacity.

You could use only Jahshaka for all of that, I'm sure. Why didn't you just add the music in Jahshaka and mute the audio tracks of the videos?

Because I didn't know how to use Jahshaka :) I did figure out how to do exactly that, and posted a few videos.

But thanks for the tip! I still only know about 5% of Jahshaka's functionality. Kind of hard to use it when it crashes often :(

Not sure what you did here but anyone who can get Jahshaka to work and publish a video is to be commended. Well done. Jahshaka is amazing if you can get it to work!!
