  • D-rex can't do half the stuff Pleo can do I'm afraid.

Pleo has eight touch sensors, D-rex has just the one. Pleo is fully programmable, D-rex is not programmable at all. Pleo is upgradable, D-rex isn't. Pleo will snuggle into your neck, D-rex cannot. Pleo can lie down and sit, D-rex cannot...

I could go on for hours but you get the idea :)

  • jsut to add on:

    1. pleo looks nice

    2. d rex looks like a 6 years old crap top (no offencive)

    3. pleo 0WNZ

    4. D rex is still learnig 1337 speak :)

  • @TheREALSoffish

What about the population that's allergic to pets and cannot have any real animals either due to age, living arrangements, or allergies? Didn't think of THAT did you?

  • @TheREALSoffish Yeah, perhaps putting "importance" labels on living things is crazy although is it really equal to that?

  • One thing they forot tomention i that while Pleo is pretty expensie at $300, other robotic pets of he same calibre, like the AIBO, sell for thousands.

  • @trexhunter73 That's a rather subjective statement. It can be equatable to the views on the importance of blacks 200 years ago.

  • @veyroPL You should listen to the above comment and, just like the guy in this video, stop letting your neighbor use your cereal bowl as a urinal!

  • @TheREALSoffish So, you're saying that pets are more important than human children, that's rather insane. Don't get me wrong. I love pets. I have two dogs and three cats, but I'd have to say human children are at least a bit more important than animals.

  • @MsJoy07 That's like saying that a dead guy can do more than a successful businessman. The only compliment I have for D-Rex is that he keeps the "pea-brained dinosaur" stereotype alive, and even that is just sarcasm.

  • Grown ups like to play make believe too, we just need extra help sometimes. Thus people latch onto Pleo because he's the most believeable acting thing.

  • @chickenpoper i wish that too...but in this economy most ppl cant afford a $450 toy or cant justify the need for one...hopefully in the near future:)

  • Oh I want one so bad!
