@lolalullababy E.g. King Henry VIII is in no way related to King William the Bastard. Just as Queen Elizabeth II today isn't relate in any way to Henry VIII. Different families and blood lines took control of the throne at different times.

As usual for Hollywood of that era...Casting someone much too old for the role ! casting A 35 year old to play a teenager is just ridiculous !

RIP Joan, you will live forever in our hearts!

On this day (May 30), 580 years ago, Jehanne la Pucelle was burned alive at the stake in Rouen, France. May her soul be at peace and her memory live forever.

Joan is in fact the noblest picture of mankind as Schiller wrote once in a poem; her life was short but she like Achilles chose a glorious but brief live over a long but quit one. But I must confess she is somewhat an enigma to me: So warlike and so brave but kind and pitiful even to her enemies; all France should have fought for her beneath the walls of Rouen like the Greeks fight for Helen at Troy for she was the only man between living shadows. But England is stained too for burning her.
