Between St Lawrence's Lake and the Thousand Islands area, Iroquois Lock allows upbound or downbound ships to bypass Iroquois Dam, which maintains Lake Ontario's water level.

When I arrived, Algocape was waiting that Atlantic Huron gets out of the lock. They crossed each other smoothly and then Algocape managed to get through the lock quite rapidly.

It was nice to get that close of such a fine vessel.

Music: "Yma o Hyd", performed by the Welsh singer Dafydd Iwan, and "I'm a Rover", by The Wolfe Tones.
