the new mustangs are pretty luxurious for the price, my color ambient lighting/gauge colors, full scale glass roof, 4.2in led hud, 7.2in voice active touch screen DVD/nav/Bluetooth, stiched leather/suede interior with soft touch "rubberish" compound (not plastic), heated front seats, duel zone climate control, heated mirrors/ rear window, rear view camera and loud crisp speakers/ sub what does the m3 have that is worth 20k more?

ya you could put 5 grand into the stang and it will out perform the m3. some mods for example high flow exhaust $1200 high flow boss 302 intake for $500, Eibach handling package (lowering springs, shocks, struts, and sway bars) for $875, some track tiers $800 a cold air intake $300, supper coil on plugs $430 and last a performance tuner for $380 add all up $4500. get a gt premium fully loaded be about 40-42k add 4500 end price is $45,500-$47,500 that car would shit on m3 for 20k less i agree lol

so basically what i got from this is you can pay 60-70k and get a bmw m3 or pay 35-40k and get a mustang with almost the exact same performance this is coming from a mopar guy so if i was going to buy a track car with the best bang for the buck i'm going mustang because if you were considering the m3 you can buy the mustang stiffen the springs and boom great track car for under 47k

what you mentioned as you know is just one of the differences, GT is 7.4" longer and a bit wider than M3 and even thou M3 has a lot more light parts like Aluminum, carbon fiber and.. but GT weights120 kg lighter. That says a lot about the price different. In my neighbourhood there are lots of M3s and high end European cars but I haven't seen any GT. Which means there is no red neck in this area :-)

There are people who buy a $5 T-shirt from walmart and some people have to buy brand name and designer cloth. They are both happy and the guy with $5 T-shirt cant see the different sir. All he understand is color and price and He thinks he is smarter than the other guy and save money. You cant change people and you dont have to as long as everybody is happy :-)
